"Welcome to LazyTown" is the main theme song for LazyTown. It is sung by Jon Josep Snaebjornsson.

It is a remix of the Icelandic song "Íþróttaálfurinn" which was Íþróttaálfurinn's theme from Áfram Latibær.

"Welcome to LazyTown" was included as the opening track to both the US soundtrack LazyTown and the UK soundtrack LazyTown - The Album.

Versions

As with "Bing Bang", "Welcome to LazyTown - Christmas version" was recorded for LazyTown's Surprise Santa.

This version is included on the UK soundtrack LazyTown - The New Album as a bonus track.
