Featured in: Rockin' Robbie

Johnny B. Badd is what Robbie Rotten disguises himself as in the episode Rockin' Robbie.

The Johnny B. Badd character is a rock 'n roll icon that Milford, Bessie and Sportacus remember from their youth, and the singer of the song "Rock Your Socks Off".

After hearing the Mayor recall that everybody used to imitate Johnny, Robbie decides to masquerade as him in order to have an influence on the town's residents, as well as to intercept a large golden trophy they were planning to award to him.

Selection process

In the Rockin' Robbie episode, as with most episodes, Robbie goes through the normal selection process - starting at the right-hand side of the screen and moving left past the disguise machine's chambers.

# 3 An orange jumpsuit with a "no dogs" sign and rotating beacon hat "Too... Woo! Woo! Woo!"

Trivia

  • Johnny's image, from the sequinned white jumpsuit and hugely coiffured wig to the sunglasses and rings, is modelled on Elvis Presley's look in the 1970s.
  • The name Johnny B. Badd is a pun on the song Johnny B. Goode, by Chuck Berry, which was also covered by Elvis.
  • When Robbie says that the costume in the disguise machine's third chamber is "too... Woo! Woo! Woo!", he spins around imitating a siren.
