First of all, all of us here at the LazyTown Fan Series would like to thank you for your continued support. All of us here at the team have always been and will continue to be passionate in providing you a series that is fun, enjoyable and maybe slightly nostalgic. We have already released our first episode, The Presidential Games, on the on-line video sharing website YouTube – to large success. Within the space of only a few days, we achieved a viewership of one thousand views, with a slight increase in subscriber numbers as well.

Until about three weeks ago from when this letter was written, there were no further public updates on the progress of the series on GetLazy, and for that we would like to offer our sincere apologies. We as a team feel as if we have failed you, our fanbase, and thank you for bearing with us throughout the past months and hope that you will continue to do so over the coming weeks and months.

Those eagle-eyed subscribers and visitors to our YouTube channel will have noticed that about three weeks ago we released a video teasing our next episode, Game Day. This episode should be out by the end of next month and we hope that it receives the same love and affection that you gave our first episode and that your imagination becomes trapped in the LazyTown world as ours are.

For those of you wondering when the next episode after episode two - episode three - will be released, the short answer is: we don’t know. As we have said time and time again since the inception of the group, all members of our crew have their own lives to lead and so, understandably, the fan series will not always be top on their list of priorities. People may have family problems, school/work issues or on a quest to gain a significant other, to list just a few possible scenarios, and as such, people may not always be able to work on the project. But do not be disheartened! No matter how long it takes, we will be working on episodes for you, our viewers.

Some of you may have heard that we have had to recast a few characters, both minor and main. This is an inevitable effect of the project being something run alongside people’s real lives, another thing to consider is that the crew live in various places around the globe and this of course means different time zones. Whilst these recastings do mean that you will be hearing a different variety of voices than in the first episode, it is important to consider that these are all still the same characters we know and love from LazyTown, just being represented by a different person’s voice. If any problem does arise with production, we will be sure to let you know – on GetLazy and our YouTube channel.

All of us here at LazyTown: The Fan Series are passionate about providing you with quality content and, no matter how long it takes, we will provide it for as long as we possibly can. In the words of Bananarama, we hope that we’re “Your Venus, your fire, your desire” and that we always will be.

To stay up-to-date with all the latest news, There we have a space for you to talk and ask questions about the series, as well as being the first to see announcements from our team. You may also e-mail us at: lazytownfanseries@ gmail.com. If that doesn’t work, then e-mail andrewpiang1@ gmail.com instead. We request that you do not send anything silly or rude to these e-mail addresses as you will be duly blocked and any further contributions you may make will not be accepted.

We apologise for the long wait and hope that you continue to bear with us for just a bit longer.

    Yours Faithfully,

    LazyTown: The Fan Series Team
    Thanks for the info.

There was an update on this. I believe the rest of the project is cancelled.

It's probably a bad translation to English. The point is that there's a petition to try to realize a movie called LazyTown: The Early Years.
