  • Stefan was in Glanni Glaepur i Latibaer

Stefan was in Glanni Glaepur i Latibaer, the second play. It was the play directly preceding the LazyTown show, when Glanni/Robbie was introduced, the characters' costumes were closer to their final designs, and many of the first versions of the standard LazyTown songs were introduced.

I doubt he has an audition tape in the same way that Julianna would because he was in the original stage show.
Oh right, Did Magnus write the original stage show?

According to the first Icelandic dictionary Google threw up, "eftir" means "by", as in the author. Case closed.
edit: Now, to investigate HowTF I ended up with screenshots half the size of the videos.

The creator is Magnus because the two plays are based in his three books.

This is pretty clear cut. Höfundur means author, he wrote the play. He was also the assistant "Liekstjora" which literally means "play boss", so probably "director".

The first credit seems to say approximately "based on the book 'Latibaer in trouble' by Magnus Scheving", and the second "play version", which I assume is equivalent to "adapted by" in English.

LazyTown in alternative 19th century universe. Adults playing leetle kids is creepy. I like the high tech toy version better.

Things worked out nicely when Julianna got the job when the original actress had to quit for some legal reason.
