Also, another sad thing about Stefan's death is that my dad's birthday is today, so everyday my dad turns another year older for now on, I'll always remember Stefan Karl Stefansson, A.K.A. Robbie Rotten dying on this day... :(
Oh my Gosh! That's so sad. I feel so bad about that.
Even if we knew, for a while, that this was coming, I still feel awfully sad about it. Even if I never had any personal connection with Stefán, I still feel as if a friend has passed on.
RIP Stefán/Robbie. I'm so sorry we couldn't permanently rid your body of this disease.
This is going to make watching LazyTown (and the Latíbær plays he was in) more difficult, at least for me.
Finally he, his family, and his friends have been released from the agony of a slow, but decisive death. He can now be at peace and his loved ones can move on, but nobody will ever forget the impact that he had on them, personally, professionally, or otherwise. A man can die, but he was more than just a man, and he leaves behind a footprint that will be recognized for a time still. I never met him, or even spoke to him, but I considered him my friend. Today I mourn the loss.
I almost feel like I just copied your post, along with others.
But I can assure you all that what I said was my true feelings.
So incredibly sad. He was so so funny as Robbie Rotten, and it was so great to watch him. His songs are among my favorites. I think Magnus was the one who said that he brought Robbie Rotten to life. R.I.P. Stefan. <3 you.
When I first heard the news, I couldn't comprehend it, I still can't, it pains me that he died and that we couldn't have saved him. But like member Stingy said, it's also good as we don't have to worry anymore.
Just terrible... I hope everyone is reflecting on his positive impact on the world... God bless him and his family... Let's pray for some closure for his wife and children and for all of us his lazy family... plus Thank you lazypooky and everyone else from the getlazy family...for honoring him during his life. He was definitely loved...
