Words cannot explain how sad I am right now. I've been watching LazyTown for about 10 years. You follow the man through the years, he gets into your heart. All I can manage to say is that he definitely didn't deserve all this.
    RIP Stefán Karl Stefansson.

Magnús: - I have fans of all ages and I don't think it's weird when older people like LazyTown. LazyTown appeals to people for many different reasons: dancing, acrobatics, etc.

I can't believe it. It doesn't feel real at all.

Danny Wilfred, an actor who played with Stefán in "The Grinch Who Stole Christmas", paid tribute to him as well on Instagram:
"My little Who heart aches today, from the news of Stefán Karl's passing after a hard fought battle with pancreatic cancer.
Having lost an uncle to the disease, I know how devastating the effects can be. I had the honor of working with Stefán for one magical holiday season.
Watching him play The Grinch was a masterclass in comedic character acting every single performance.
I have never met someone so full of life, spirit, and joy.
I even had the pleasure of spending Christmas day hanging out with him and his kids poolside at his hotel in Ft Lauderdale.
He lead that production with such bravado, it was impossible not to be inspired to be the best Who you could be.
Thank you, Stefán. You will always be my Grinch.

I wanted to be sad but sadly I'm not sad. I feel sad that I'm not sad. He's a good actor, he played such a funny villain, how am I not sad? Is it because I'm in a good mood or what? I feel so ashamed of myself for not being sad.
Edit: I kinda am sad actually, at least on the inside.

                          Rest in Peace, Stefan Karl

Finally he, his family, and his friends have been released from the agony of a slow, but decisive death. He can now be at peace and his loved ones can move on, but nobody will ever forget the impact that he had on them, personally, professionally, or otherwise. A man can die, but he was more than just a man, and he leaves behind a footprint that will be recognized for a time still. I never met him, or even spoke to him, but I considered him my friend. Today I mourn the loss.
