  • Hurricane Maria Survivors

Are there any people who use GetLazy who witnessed Hurricane Maria in person and survived or who live in the affected areas? (I live in Puerto Rico but the hurricane also hit the Dominican Republic, Haiti, Cuba and Florida)

You can share your stories about what you did during the hurricane and your experiences.

    Re: Hurricane Maria Survivors

In Europe we don't have hurricanes usually and if one hits it's not so destructive as we see in other places like the Caribbean Islands and Japan. I hope Puerto Rico and the other islands get good help soon.

As today Hurricane Ophelia hits Ireland and because of that we have tropical temperatures here. Very extreme.

The red-orange glow was sand from the sahara, and that explains the temperature here also.

I remember seeing on the news in 2009, in Sydney there was a massive red dust storm at the Sydney harbour bridge- extraordinary scenes.

            update:
Today was a red-orange sun here the whole day. Now they are saying that's because of the wildfires in Portugal and northern Spain, and the smoke blows over high in the sky. So opinions changes from day to day.
