    LazyTown Stage Show in Spanish?

This curiosity turned up on YouTube today. It features most of the LazyTown cast dancing to Bing Bang in Spanish. Seeing Mayor Meanswell attempt it made me giggle like an idiot, I must admit. But they made Sportacus and Stephanie's finishing move look really romantic in my opinion.

This video features them dancing to Anything Can Happen. Most of the puppet characters look somewhat good, Ziggy is spot on, but...what have they done to Milford's face?

I wonder if the Latibaer plays could continue in a format like this?
I seriously need a new sig. Will try Photoshop later.

Thank God I'm not the only one who surfs YouTube for LT stuff. Heh.

Anyway, that's really funny. I haven't seen that first one yet, but, yeah, seeing Meanswell doing Bing Bang is really strange. From the amount of videos on YouTube, I'd say LT is really popular in Spanish speaking countries! I wonder if that's an official stage show, or what? I'm guessing it is, since it looks really well done.

Yeah. Not much related to LazyTown appears on YouTube anymore (aside from legions of camwhores doing terrible imitations of the Bing Bang dance, though I have seen a select few fans do it very well) after the Viacom purge, but a few gems still appear once every few weeks.

I've ripped the Bing Bang video in case it gets pulled, by the way. The WTFery must be preserved for future generations.

    They look pretty good.
I wonder what they'd be like in other countries?

Pretty cool and strange. Those poor dancers with the masks on, it must be super hot under that masks! Anywho, I gave a quick look and found this article (I shall copy the "putting the article in a quote" thing too ):

I forgot most of my Spanish, but it took place on the 16th, just 3 days ago!

Buenos Aires is in Agrentina, South America: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Buenos_Aires

WOW! that play looks pretty amazing. the costumes and props and everything is top notch. from the audience i bet the kids wouldn't know that it's not really them. and the actors are pretty good anyways.

    in this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aC9MCZgi3kE
the guy playing Sportacus is really convincing! he even does the subtle moves that Magnus does, like his facial expressions, and raising his shoulders when he laughs, and stuff like that.

and i'm not gonna lie I want to see this! (even though i don't speak spanish... hell, that might make it even funnier.) they've got Ms. Roberta!!! <3 if only we could have something like this in the US! (srsly, why don't we?) it'd be even greater with the real cast, but i'd settle for something similar to this.

Yeah, and Mexico is a fair ways away from Buenos Aires.

...Anyone on GetLazy from Argentina so we have connections in South America?? XD If there's a DVD out there, that would be awesome.

From what I gathered from the Jamarama tours, Magnús or someone he knows trains the people for the stage show, they also fly them over to Iceland!; they even do a song recording over there. Which might mean these actors must have trained and practiced for a long time just to get those nuances. Pretty frickin' cool.

Wiii.... I'm from Chile but I have some information...

It's an official Stage Show and the Actors were trained by Magnús in Iceland. In fact, he was in Argentina for the Premiere! ^^! They have the rights for show this stage show in all Latin America, except Mexico and Brasil

I hope he can come to Chile someday :hopes: ^^!
