It looks like it belongs to a self storage company. I thought LazyTown still owned it but just didn't use it anymore.

Nope, it have been listed for sale since 2014, and was ultimately bought by geymslur (http://www.geymslur.com).

Looking at Geymslur website, this is seriously disturbing. It's like seeing a childhood hangout turned into a parking lot.

    Re: LazyTown Studios

It was built for LazyTown in 2002 and should be a museum right now! I seriously wonder where all the stuff went. It has to be stored somewhere, I bet Turner took care of that, or Magnus, together with his oldtimer cars.

Well, keeping in mind that the place is now literally a storing place now, I think it would be fitting for LTE to have a room of their own.
    I don't think that's true, though, but it's a nice thought.
Chris mentioned a "storage lot next door" in his thread about his visit to the studios. Not sure if this was in the same complex, or a separate place next door, but that could potentially be where some of the most precious pieces were stored.

    Who knows.. »\_(ツ)_/»

    LazyTown Studios

With the layout of the building, they probably had to destroy and build rooms to turn it into a self storage center

    LazyTown Studios

Wait a minute. Did Geymslur already own 380 before because I just read a thread on her from 2009 that talked about the studios being involved with Geymslur.

Inside the studio when it was all still there.
I can't remember where the pieces of videos came from. I think it's still online somewhere.

For some time, Magn˙s Scheving, CEO of LATABĂ Flight Museum, gave a few traits from the LazyTown studio, which has now received a new address. Unfortunately, we could not use this part of LatabŠ's playschool, except for a small amount of effort in the Museum, so it was decided to give most of these great beautiful things to Borgarness, where we set up the LatabŠjarsafn. It is therefore with pleasure that the Museum of Flight sent this great part there. On the other hand, the airplane of the sports fair will be hung up in the museum as part of Iceland's flight history.
Fyrir nokkru gaf Magn˙s Scheving forstjˇri Ý LATABĂ Flugsafninu nokkra gripi ˙r st˙dݡi LatabŠjar sem n˙ hefur fengi nřtt heimilisfang. ŮvÝ miur gßtum vi ekki nřtt okkur ■essa hluti ˙r leikmynd LatabŠjar nema a litlu leiti vegna ■rengsla Ý Safninu, og var ■vÝ ßkvei a gefa megni af ■essum stˇru fallegu munum til Borgarness, en ■ar ß a setja upp LatabŠjarsafn. Ůa er ■vÝ me ßnŠgju a Flugsafni sendi ■essa flottu hluti ■anga. Hins vegar verur flugvÚl ═■rˇttaßlfsins hengd upp Ý safninu sem hluti af flugs÷gu ═slands.

Yeah, here in the US it closed as well. I was thinking it closed in every country. Then again, sometimes when things re-brand or become defunct, it typically happens in the US or whatever the original country was first, and then it happens in other countries. I remember the same thing happened when Nick Jr. re-branded, it happened in the US first, and then other countries.

Yeah, it, along with Babies R Us only closed in the US, Australia and in the UK, from what I know. They might had close down here too, but someone bought the stores here to keep it open. Here's a comparison image of the main pages of the UK, US, Australian and Canadian Toys R Us Websites right now, that I took:

Canada's on the top left, then the USA's on the top right. The UK's website is on the bottom left, with Australia being on the bottom right.

Also, the Australian Website has a video called "The Legend of Geoffrey." Now excuse me, I got something to watch right now...

(And yes, you can still order and buy things on the Canadian website, and in Canadian stores.)
