    80s Music

    Hey Guys!

As some of you may know, I'm a huge 80s fanatic.
I have over the years built myself quite a nice little playlist, but as anything it can always become bigger!

Therefor I would appreciate if you guys would post some of your favourite 80's music.

    Cheers!

Here are some of the 80s songs on my playlist. Pretty standard stuff, I'd be surprised if any of it was new to you.

hard to choose any songs since the 80's were such a big era of great music...you didn't tell us your preferences so here are some of my punk/new wave favorites coz the 80's also were the golden age of these genres

Howdy people, I make my own 1980s styled music, so if anyone would be interested I would upload them to YouTube.

I don't know if it's interesting. There are so many different music styles and some I like and some I don't like. Not want to be stereotyping but the german electronic music from the 80s is really cool, like kraftwerk.

Although I'm not actual a big fan of those music, it sounds just cool sometimes. Simple electronics...

I'm more into complex electronics. The remixes of those are just amazing.
Glad to found the original video of it too.

Not bad. Also Apparently as of 1/27/2017 we are no longer able to post five videos in one post anymore just one. Not trying to start any trouble just letting people know whoever reads this

    Re: 80s Music

Everytime I explore the mighty 80s music colection on YouTube I end up with disco music sang by black people, because they just have the best voices. Also people enjoyed singing and making music rather than making money. I wanted to say that I was born too late but actual this a good time. Now we can have all the 80s collections in our hands with one click. How did people do that in that time?

Along with LazyPooky's posting of one of Evelyn King's hits, here's a great tune from Kashif, who also wrote and produced several songs for her (including Love Come Down) in the 80's:

I went up in the attic today, and pulled out my Playstation 2 along with my guitar hero guitar.
When i booted up the dusty "Guitar Hero: Rock The 80s" there was only one song I wanted to play.

Another little gem from the decade of one-hit-wonders.

For some reason this reminds me of How I Met Your Mother...

    Re: 80s Music

Their early work was a little too new wave for my taste. But when Sports came out in '83, I think they really came into their own, commercially and artistically. The whole album has a clear, crisp sound, and a new sheen of consummate professionalism that really gives the songs a big boost. He's been compared to Elvis Costello, but I think Huey has a far more bitter, cynical sense of humor. In '87, Huey released Fore!, their most accomplished album. I think their undisputed masterpiece is "Hip To Be Square". A song so catchy, most people probably don't listen to the lyrics. But they should, because it's not just about the pleasures of conformity and the importance of trends. It's also a personal statement about the band itself.

You almost got away with it. This isn't opinion, he lifted dialogue from Patrick Bateman (American Psycho).

Hard to relate to a lot of the music here, mostly because I missed it. Spent the eighties listening to my Michael Jackson cassette tapes. Don't think I got into my long time belle Celine Dion until the nineties, though I did go back and listen to her earlier french stuff. Some of my family lives in the french part of Canada and also I got heavy into the Skyrock blogs during the 2000's. It's a fun thing to listen songs in language you can't understand, that way you focus on the music.

I have always liked this single from the 1987, plus the guy driving the taxi is comedy gold.

Everybody needs a little time to play around. Have to heat it up, better burn it up. Cool it down.

cute little thing...this song...it's still part of my mp3 collection I use to hear while driving...this kind of lolita pop reminds me of this one in some ways because it has the same innocent image and it is french as well
