To quote Xizer:

All of the episodes sport a video resolution of 1920x1080i, and use the MPEG-2 codec at an average bitrate of 15 Mbps. All episodes have Dolby Digital 5.1 audio @ 384 Kbps.

This is exactly how Sprout HD distributed them; they have not been re-encoded from their original source for the best quality.
