Lightning Strikes Twice

Lightning really did strike twice at a German rock festival, leaving more than 30 people injured.

The two bolts hit the Rock am Ring festival in Mendig, western Germany, early Saturday, reports the Mirror.

Thirty-three people were hurt, including production staff.

All of those who were hurt were taken to a hospital and none were seriously injured, said organizers.

Nature can really be disastrous at times. It's insane to think that we can all end up in these situations. One second it can all be fine, and the next you're struggling to hold on to life. Brings shivers down my spine..
