I’m pretty sure it airs in China even though there isn’t a Chinese dub. There was even a live show in China in English.

It was introduced at the Chinese Global Spring Festival Gala 2014 as part of the cultural communications. There is no Chinese dub available (yet) and I think it was never broadcasted in China either.
Magnús: - I have fans of all ages and I don't think it's weird when older people like LazyTown. LazyTown appeals to people for many different reasons: dancing, acrobatics, etc.

And what about Egypt? Does LazyTown air there in Arabic?

              Re: International Broadcasts

That means out of all three countries but Sportacus visited (France and China in SSTT and Egypt in MOTP), China is the only country that never aired LazyTown.

I think most Kids TV shows lie to children about foreign countries by not showing modern features of the countries and making them look like they are stuck in a time warp and that the main country of the TV show (mostly the United States or the United Kingdom) is the only country to have modern stuff. That’s why you’ll never see skyscrapers and modern houses in Egypt, you’ll never see a Chinese person watching TV in China and why you’ll never see a French person using an iPad in France.

I wouldn't call it 'lying to children' - it's more like showing a stereotype. They do it because that's literally what children think countries are like.

In Germany, Lazy Town is shown on Super RTL at Toggo.

I heard Nickelodeon aired LazyTown in the U.K. and Australia. Go the list of programs formerly aired in Nickelodeon UK on Wikipedia and check if LazyTown is in that list.

Is there even Nickelodeon in Australia?

Yes, there is. It's been on Foxtel as long as I can remember.

Not that anyone besides me uses Foxtel in 2017
