Mini-Save: Sportacus saves a kitty cat from a tree branch, later he saves Stingy from falling into a hole while driving.
Robbie Mad: Robbie is not really mad at anyone in this episode unless you count those “pushy librarians”. In fact, he is happy that Sportacus has lost his crystal.

Big Save: Sportacus has to save Stingy from the Tree house after Robbie removed the ladder.
Bing Bang Song: Normal, in the town centre. Trixie kisses Stingy at the end of the Bing Bang song!
Robbie's Joke / Closing Scene: Robbie returns to his underground lair and declares that he needs a bigger pillow. He notices that something is missing and then his three bribe items come flying back down the chute after him. He takes a sip from his Texas mug.
Moral Lessons / Point of the Production: Stingy admits he made a mistake taking the crystal. Sportacus tells stingy that “the things you do affect everybody, not just you.” Stingy made a mistake but he admitted it and said he was sorry. “That also affects everybody.”
Internal Cross References/Recurring Themes: Letters to the “President of the Country”; Stephanie’s Red Clam-shell luggage. The retractable podium is deployed in this episode by the Mayor for the celebration party.
External Cross References: “Dummies” books (see below). “My Precious” (see below).

    Discussion Questions / Weird Things:
    1. Sportacus gets his water from a Sports Water Bottle. It has H20 printed on the side of the Bottle. This bottle is transparent unlike some of the other white bottles that we see in other episodes.

    2. The Dispenser for the water bottle is below the Water Fountain to the left of the Food Table hatch. We never actually see Sportacus using a faucet anywhere in the episodes, not even to brush his teeth!

    3. Mistake? Sportacus steps on a light to trigger the food dispenser table and the table deploys, but then he gets his water out of the little round hole below the water fountain in the wall to the left of the table. Maybe he is going to eat something after he drinks the water.

    4. Question? What does Sportacus do with all of the leftover fruit on his fruit table? Or does he really eat that much Sports Candy every day?

    5. Question? Where did Sportacus get his crystal from? Is it magical or mechanical?

    6. The Road Works warning triangle shows a man sleeping on his spade and looks very similar to the original Latibaer characters! Typical for LazyTown.

    7. Minor Moral Lesson: Ziggy tells Sportacus that he was super brave, then Sportacus tells Ziggy “You have a hero inside you too!”

    8. Robbie takes out Library books? He owes $4006.03 in late fees for the books he has not returned yet. The book he then reads is “Rotten Behaviour for Dummies.”

    9. When Sportacus tells the Mayor that something terrible has happened, the Mayor immediately asks “Is Stephanie alright?” Caring Uncle!

    10. The Mayor offers “One Wish” as a reward for finding the crystal. But how does he know he will be able to fulfil that wish?

    11. Sportacus runs off from the Mayor and Bessie without saying thank you. #Distracted

    12. When Bessie calls Ziggy to report the crystal missing, Ziggy appears to be reading a comic. Are those also Latibaer characters in the comic?

    13. Nobody ever calls Robbie, yet his number must be in the Directory that Bessie has. This is not true though as we do see him getting calls in other episodes (yes, I know some of the of them are wrong numbers).

    14. Why is Stephanie looking in her luggage for the crystal? Is she an Amnesiac Kleptomaniac?

    15. The scene with Trixie on Ziggy’s shoulders is used again in “Welcome to LazyTown” (which was the episode produced right after this one). Only the Voice over is different (and the end result).

    16. When Stingy is sitting in his car admiring his precious crystal, the scene reminds us of the character Gollum from “The Lord of the Rings”. Gollum also has converstations with himself about “My Precious”!

    17. That’s quite a microwave that Robbie has there, where can I buy one of those?

    18. One of the disguises in Robbie’s lair is a Bull Fighter’s outfit.

    19. When Robbie gives his fake crystal to Sportacus, he looks quite apprehensive for a moment to see if it will really fit into Sportacus’ Crystal holder number badge thingy.

    20. The Song “Anything can happen” is the first time we see Robbie dancing with the other LazyTown characters and it’s really cool I think… even if he doesn’t get it exactly right. He is supposed to catch Stephanie but is sleeping on the job. This is one of my favourite LazyTown songs (Yes, I have lots of favourites). Later he also jumps into Sportacus’ arms just like Stephanie did, but Sportacus drops him and he shuffles off on his knees.

    21. After finding the (fake) crystal Sportacus announces a celebration and Stephanie does a cute little speed wobble because she wants to have a party with “Cake and balloons and Streamers and maybe a puppy!”

    22. Robbie seems to fall into a lot of holes. He falls into one in the Opening Sequence of the show, and he fell into one in the First Episode. Of course it is a set up here so that he can notice the real crystal on the front of Stingy’s car.

    23. As usual he calls Stingy “Stinky” as he does in quite a few other episodes. Later on in the treehouse he calls him “Stringy”. He always follows it up with a “Whatever” comment implying that he really doesn’t care what people’s real names are. This is one of his anti-social tendencies.

    24. The Kitty Cat from earlier on in the episode shows up in the same hole the Robbie falls into and Robbie saves it without even thinking about it.

    25. Robbie tries to bribe Stingy with (1) a mountain of comic book, (2) a bag of coins from all over the world – including Iceland and (3) A coffee cup with a map of Texas on it. Finally he threatens to turn Stingy in for taking the crystal. Stingy ultimately refuses.

    26. The bag of money has the KR symbol on it which stands for “Krona” the currency of Iceland where LazyTown is produced.

    27. Eventually it is found out that Robbie gave a fake crystal and Stingy is given the wish for returning the real crystal. He wishes that he will never take anything again that doesn’t belong to him.

How Sportacus gets his water is explained in season 4 believe it or not

Yes. They are shots from the book Maggi Mjói Borðar Ekki Mat. It sounds like you've seen it by now, right?

Fun thing you might not know.. We're Dancing was the first song that Juli recorded. The other two oldest ones were "Always a Way" and "Anything Can Happen." A woman named Selma Bjornsdottir originally demoed the songs for Juli, so she had a vocal guide, and her voice is still kept in "Anything Can Happen" as the backing vocals! She was also the woman who played Stephanie in the first play, Afram Latibær.

The cup is proudly on display in the Hudson Room at the studio.

            20. The Song “Anything can happen” ..
Like Stingy said, this was one of the first songs that Máni wrote for the first season. Fun fact is that the whole thing took about one hour. He wrote it in the morning, the lyrics where made during lunch break and Julianna sang it in the afternoon. In this episode there was only room for a short song but he always wanted it to be longer.
Magnús: - I have fans of all ages and I don't think it's weird when older people like LazyTown. LazyTown appeals to people for many different reasons: dancing, acrobatics, etc.

That's pretty amazing, because it is probably my favourite song! I can't believe they wrote it so fast.

Weird thing is, in CN version of LazyTown's Turkish Dub, the coin from Iceland was dubbed as "a coin from Turkey".
                        What the ****?!

                          Stupid self-centered Turkish.

And in Russian dub it was "a rouble from Russia", so this line is probably ment to be changed. Any child would be proud to hear his country name mentioned like that.

I know I do. In the Bulgarian dub he still says "including Iceland", this is actually a loophole I found in Bulgarian dubs of today's shows, like when someone wants an explanation "in English", they still say English, even though it's not the language they are speaking in the dub.
