The book isn't about making friends per se. It's more about social skills.

You ought to try it. I know that it's changed my life.

Tried it today, it was so embarasing, the girl walked away without even looking at me. I bet she was like, "What a weirdo."
That was most definitely a girly girl. Those jokes posted here are men's jokes, and you must never use them to approach girly girls, especially not when you first meet them. First, you need to give them compliments and a lot of attention. After she smiles a few times, you can think of a joke.

Might I add, he didn't say which joke it was.

I know this post is late, but I still had to put that thought out there.

          I live by that book.

Actually, I live by several books now.

          There's so much to learn.

            Re: High School

secondary school was probably the worst time in my life so I don't really look back on it at all.
infact there's a massive blank in my memory and I can't remember much at all

              Re: High School

I'm sort of missing high school. I think. Not enjoying uni right now frankly. Years 11 and 12 were the best, for various reasons. Forget year 9-10 for health reasons. :( Now with uni, I'm in 4th year, will still need another year to complete my undergrad. If you offered me a pass in every subject from now on, I'd probably take it. It's getting frustrating now. So yes, I miss high school, but only year 11-12 despite the workload. My other problem is I am terrible at keeping friends. I always seem to have a new friend, but as soon as we are no longer in the same class/they've graduated, I just forget about them. I forget to ask for their number etc, although I'll still have them on Facebook. Of course Facebook is pretty much a massive news/sport/meme page now with not much socialising- that's how I use it.

                Re: High School

I'd say I do. I'm only 24 and long to relive the days from 14-18 again. Pretty strange actually. I'm not even close to middle-age and I'm feeling nostalgic about youth, despite still being young.

I sort of do miss high school. Not the peers, or teachers, or learning. I miss high school because I was still an adolescent and felt like the world could be my oyster any day I decided.

                  Re: High School

I'm 21 and I too would like to live through those years again, but I think the years ahead to come are the best but toughest ones and where you can really make it big, and where the most important things in your life will happen.
