Has anyone noticed that Stingy's hair from Glanni Glępur I Latabę is pretty much exactly like Robbie Rotten's hair in the TV series?

Oh definitely. I recently started watching the plays and picked up the similarity.

In Surprise Santa, Sportacus jumps from one side of the table, which is not a very good idea in my opinion, and in the next frames the ceiling of the room is visible. It's the first time I've seen a ceiling of a LazyTown room. I wonder how they did that because I haven't seen a ceiling piece in the behind the scenes photos and it's way too smooth. Maybe they used a greenscreen, although that would be quite difficult to do. I don't know the answer to that.

When Robbie is looking at his calendar in the episode 'The Greatest Gift' he teared off the 13th, while the 14th is the next day (Ziggy's birthday) so his clock is more ahead in time than above ground.

Also why is there a crab in the picture of the calendar.

I thought it was them saying they were in the time frame of the Cancerian star sign, June 21st to July 22nd, so it could be July 14th.

Maybe it's a visual thing for children, Robbie is "Bad" so he would have a picture of something that might hurt you on his calendar?

The prop department probably just picked something at random.

Yeah, especially in the right hand image, It looks to me like they filmed Robbie and Milford in Stephanie's house, then filmed Sportacus separately flipping infront of a green screen but from further away, then merged the 2 together.
If he was really on the table, I think Sportacus' back would be bigger.

One thing I've always wondered is how Robbie's inventions and stuff work. Some episodes it's like magic, others science, and still others both, and there's rare occasions where he teleports by snapping his fingers or makes stuff appear/disappear by clapping his hands. And he has a phone that can order ANYTHING.

Only thing I can say is that it is magic. Lots of things happen in LazyTown that are very fantastical, and someone asked Stefan a somewhat similar question once and he answered that Robbie is magical.

Sorry if it's already been said. In Zap It, you can hear some instrumental version of ''Megabęt'' while Pixel is working on his machine. I love this song.

Edit: I'm dumb. He even sings it later as ''Gizmo Guy''.

Yeah, I saw something similar on a Reddit Q&A he did, where in comparing Glanni to Robbie he said Robbie was more silly, less evil and more magical.

I found a video in my recommend YouTube list and I noticed that this is the exact same scene that was used in the S3 episode The Purple Panther.

Some of the letters shown in "Sportacus on the Move" were sent from Iceland sometime after 1996, considering how "Hildur" is an Icelandic name. The drawing on the bottom left of the second photo attached is a bit creepy.

Yes, I really want to know how that is even possible. What's the only logical explanation to that? It is like a spoiler for the next episode

The episodes weren't filmed in the same order they were aired and I'm pretty sure Dear Diary was one of the later S1 episodes to be filmed, so after they filmed Soccer Sucker.

I know that in the German version of LazyTown, Soccer Sucker was aired before Dear Diary, but why did they decide to air Dear Diary before Soccer Sucker in the original version of LazyTown xD

    Re: LazyTown Curiosities

I had an old Low Quality recording of Sportafake and there were scenes in there that wasn't in the HD version and the audio is different. In fact, when I tried to make a HD video some small fragments could not be found anywhere in the Sportafake video or in other season 1 videos (as far as I could take a good look).
It started with 'okay kids..' that couldn't be found in the HD version, and when Sportacus moved to the ladder of his airship the fragment was longer than anywhere I could find - the longest part was at the end of the episode Prince Stingy, so I took that to create the HD version.
