    Re: LazyTown Curiosities

I watched School Scam for the first time the other day, and I noticed that in the opening Sportacus segment, the S3/S4 intro uses clips from it!

In Dr. Rottenstein, when Robbie is trying to make the kids blame Sportacus for their sickness, he hints to them that it was caused by someone whose name starts with the letter 'S.'
      The kids then yell out:
      Stingy: "Stingy!"
      Ziggy: "Ziggy!"
      Stingy: "Stephanie!"
      Ziggy: "Pixel!"

Of course, Ziggy's name doesn't start with the letter S, it starts with Z. However, Siggi starts with S, which is what the character's name is in Icelandic.

      See the scene here.

Just wondering ... I'm not familiar with Stingy's backstory, but I'm assuming that the Mayor is his legal guardian while his parents jet around the world buying 10,000 investment properties or something ridiculous.

Mayor Meanswell, obviously, is Stephanie's uncle.

So would that make Stephanie and Stingy cousins strictly in the legal sense?

Fun headcanon, but I don't think there's any confirmation of that.

In the music video for "The Lazy Rockets" there are a few shots showing the kids showing the kids with the Sportathunder car and matching outfits, even though that car wouldn't be built until a few scenes later.

                  Low quality reference:

Yeah, that's a continuity error right there.
Still, could be an example of the classical trick in musicals, where the song-part is a break from the current time.

                    For example:
There's a massive fight in a bar. Everyone is shouting and throwing glasses across the room.
Then suddenly the lights fade down, everyone freezes, and a small boy walks out from the side of the scene.
He then begins singing about how awful the life of a pub-boy is.

                    I know, I shouldn't focus on a career as a play write..

Just noticing in Rottenbeard they shut off Steph's microphone before she finished her line.

She was supposed to say "He seems mean." But they dropped the word "mean".

Well then how do you explain Ziggy saying Pixel? His Icelandic name is Goggi, and it doesn't start with an S.

That's kinda the "gag" in that scene.
Ziggy is known to be a tad slow sometimes, and him yelling out "Pixel"/"Goggi" just further proves that he's not sure about the alphabet.
