    Re: Airship and more

Although we all here at getlazy do not reply as often as we should do, I must say that we follow the progress of your Sporatcus Airship with great fascination (I think I can speak for all). We need people like you who does a littlebit more than just looking for a nice and funny conversation (there's nothing wrong with that offcourse). It will keep the LTboard so much alive and for fans to come back every time. Thank you Boredjedi
Magnús: - I have fans of all ages and I don't think it's weird when older people like LazyTown. LazyTown appeals to people for many different reasons: dancing, acrobatics, etc.

Thank you very much pooky. Though, I'm guilty of the non-replying a bit myself from time to time but I do read pretty much everything.

      :)

This is amazing! Will you be submitting the model to the LT people? It's really fantastic!

Nah, I'm sure they are more than happy with their version I have bigger plans for it though.

              Thanks.

Just a quick update. I've been stuck on the door section but I think I've figured out how to deal with it.

                  Thanks :)

I'm not quite there yet. I still gots to work on texturing and displacement mapping. Getting that detail on the gondola hull is going to be fun.

This image will show what I've had to contend with in getting the airship right. They keep changing things about it. The door is suppose to be in the center. But it's to only show the hull detailing.

This pretty much takes care of the doorway. I didn't like the way it looked before so I was busy redoing it.

It is looking pretty sweet isn't it even though it still needs a bit more detailing.

Just finished the door itself. I can smell the end of the construction!

Edit: Just finished this as well

Thanks. That above image was just preliminary. After much search and coming across the right tutorial. I'm now able to create flat panel lighting and I stuck it behind the frosty glass. The above image was using an omni light.
