Re: Hey look, this topic isn't suggestive at all!

She's a great singer, she can adapt to match the style of song and has a good vocal range. I was just listening to "Lazy Rockets". and am happy that she's still keeping that ability as she grows up. My favourites for her singing are "Spooky Song" and "Galaxy"

Re: Hey look, this topic isn't suggestive at all!

Whenever she is supposed to sing the word "swing", Stephanie says "twing" instead. This confused me heavily when I was trying to figure out the lyrics for that "I love to dance" interlude. But it's cute.

The "Man on a Mission" song is not only nice, but quite interesting: It parodies Shirley Bassey's "Goldfinger". It mentions the shoe-phone, a device formerly used in "Get Smart" and finally ends with the words "Secret agent maaaaaaaannnnn" just like the title song of the Patrick McGoohan classic "Danger Man"*). Makes me smile, but how's a stupid 4-to-8-year-old supposed to get those in-jokes? Maybe LazyTown isn't a kids show after all.

*) I sincerely hope that even bad parents will shy away from exposing their breed to The Hoff's version of that song.

Why? Just to hear Ziggy sing:

              I'll pile on the sweets
              It's such a pretty sight
It makes the food taste a treat
But my tummy hurts all night,

              instead of:

              I'll pile on the candy
              It's such a pretty sight
It makes the food taste dandy
But my tummy hurts all night,

thus destroying both rhythm and rhyme.

Ah, I see. I on the other hand had to extract the songs missing from the UK-CD or being ...uh - contaminated by british dubbing from the DVDs.

But it is worse. You'll also need The New Album. Of course one can go on living without I Wanna Dance, Lazy Rockets or even The Greatest Genie.

                  But what for? ;)

Cool LazyTown stuff is only for countries that have been good this year.

We got coal in our stockings, like that glass Dora sculpture I saw at the flea market yesterday.

Anyway, I love Juli's vocals. I hope she gets to do more Broadway shows in the future, that would be awesome.

I've seen it on Amazon.com. But it is insanely expensive. We need the telephone number of the shop, Robbie gets his stuff from. :(

I think she sounds really good in the songs Anything Can Happen, Have You Never, Galaxy, and Time To Play.

I don't know how much you saw it for on amazon.com, but on amazon.co.uk the New Album is currently £8.98 and the first one is £3.98 (bit peeved as I spent about £8, but that's another kettle of fish...).
Plus £2.09 for airmail delivery would bring both albums to a grand total of £15.05, which I guess is about $30.

I'm not sure about potential import charges, but usually if you select something as "gift" I don't think they apply. Don't quote me on that though!
